A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I read books, write in a journal, and take walks with my iPhone camera for inspiration.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it makes me feel good. I do it to get outside myself.

3. What inspires you?

Color inspires me.

4. What/who are your influences?

I’m most influenced by other artists such as Matisse and the Bay Area Figurative Painters like David Park and Richard Diebenkorn.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

I would love to have a chat with Matisse, Modigliani and Soutine.
